【摘要】:Problemswithextrusionandsubsequentprocessingofthematerialarecaused,inpart,bythepresenceofpaper,metal,gels,incompatiblepolymers,orotherextraneouscontaminationfoundinpolymers.1.1Thispracticecoversameanstoseparatetheunmoltenparticles,gels,andimpuritiescontaminatingapolymersample.Theproceduremaybeusedtoremovegelsandincompatiblematerialsthatmaycauseimperfectionsinthefinalextrudedproduct.Underpressure,mostgelswillbreakupordeformandpassthroughawiremeshfilter,howeverhighmolecularweightgelsmaynotbreakupordeform.1.2Ifdesired,materialsisolatedonawiremeshfiltercansubsequentlybeidentifiedbyspectroscopicorotheranalyticalmeans.Note18212;Althoughnotpresentedasaquantitativemethod,theprocedurepresentedinthispracticemaybeusedtoprovidequantitativeresultsatthediscretionoftheuser.Theuserassumestheresponsibilitytoverifythereproducibilityofquantitativeresults.Detectionlimitdependsonthemeshsizeofthefilterscreen,buttheprocedureisgenerallyapplicabletotheseparationofimmisciblecontaminantspresentatconcentrationsgreaterthan0.1%.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardsstatements,seeSection8.Note28212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothispractice.
