【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardgivesgeneralrequirementsregardingconstructionandperformanceformagneticcompasses,binnaclesandazimuthreadingdevices,classB.Inaddition,thisInternationalStandardincludesgeneralrequirementsregardingconstructionandperformanceforhand-bearingcompasses.ThisInternationalStandardappliestoliquid-filledmagneticcompasses,withorwithoutgimbals,—intendedforseanavigationonboardshipsfor"restrictedserviceandlifeboats"accordingtotheregulationsinforce;—withasealedornon-sealedbowl;—havingadirectreadingsystem;—whichmaybeofthereflecting,projectingortransmittingtypes.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotapplytoa)drycardcompasses;b)typesofcompassdesignedonprinciplesdifferentfromthosestatedaboveornotcomplyingwiththedescriptionsgiven.NOTEAsISO14227([7]inthebibliography)coversmagneticcompassesforuseinsmallcraftofhulllengthupto24m,thisInternationalStandarddoesnothaveanyprovisionforthem.
