【摘要】:ThisclauseofPart1isreplacedbythefollowing.ThisInternationalStandarddealswiththesafetyofelectricmassageappliancesforhouseholdandsimilarpurposes,theirratedvoltagebeingnotmorethan250Vforsinglephaseappliancesand480Vforotherappliances.NOTE101Examplesofapplianceswithinthescopeofthisstandardare–footmassagers;–waterfilledfootmassagers;–hand-heldmassagers;–massagebeds;–massagebelts;–massagechairs;–massagepads.Appliancesnotintendedfornormalhouseholdusebutthatneverthelessmaybeasourceofdangertothepublic,suchasappliancesintendedtobeusedbylaymeninshops,inlightindustryandonfarms,arewithinthescopeofthisstandard.NOTE102Examplesofsuchappliancesarethoseusedinbeautyparloursandfitnesscentres.Asfarasispracticable,thisstandarddealswiththecommonhazardspresentedbyappliancesthatareencounteredbyallpersonsinandaroundthehome.However,ingeneral,itdoesnottakeintoaccount–persons(includingchildren)whose??physical,sensoryormentalcapabilities;or??lackofexperienceandknowledgepreventsthemfromusingtheappliancesafelywithoutsupervisionorinstruction;–childrenplayingwiththeappliance.NOTE103Attentionisdrawntothefactthat–forappliancesintendedtobeusedinvehiclesoronboardshipsoraircraft,additionalrequirementsmaybenecessary;–inmanycountriesadditionalrequirementsarespecifiedbythenationalhealthauthorities,thenationalauthoritiesresponsiblefortheprotectionoflabourandsimilarauthorities.NOTE104Thisstandarddoesnotapplytoappliancesintendedtobeusedinlocationswherespecialconditionsprevail,suchasthepresenceofacorrosiveorexplosiveatmosphere(dust,vapourorgas).
