【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestwomethodsforthedeterminationofthecurecharacteristicsoffibre-reinforcedthermosettingmouldingcompoundsandprepregs.Thecharacteristicsmeasuredare—theheatgeneratedbytheexothermicreaction;—thethermalexpansionofthecompoundaccompanyingtheriseintemperature;—theshrinkageduetothecuringreaction.Themethodsspecifiedareapplicabletoallcompoundscomprisingthermosettingmatricesreinforcedwithfibres.Themajorfieldofapplicationiscompoundsbasedonunsaturatedpolyesterresins.MethodⅠdescribesatestmethodtodeterminethereactivityofathermosettingcompoundbyasimpleprocedure.Thismethodexaminesonlythereactivebehaviourofthematrixanditsstateofstabilization(onefactoraffectingtheshelflifeofthemouldingcompound).MethodⅡdescribesatestmethodwhichneedsmoresophisticatedequipment,takesmoretimebutprovidesadditionaldetailedinformationaboutthephysicalbehaviourofthecompoundundersimulatedpracticalmouldingconditions.Itproducesaplatewhichcanbeusedforfurthertestingtodeterminepropertiesofthemouldedarticle.
